Love how this stool opens and closes, don't worry about pinching your fingers! When folded, it takes up very little space. The steps feel solid and I really like that there is a lockable compartment for small nails or screws (red capped). The top shelf has slots for screwdrivers, pliers and a hammer, as well as space for a paint can (or a lightbulb so it doesn't roll off!). I wish I had had this years ago!

I have had a few footpegs. I bought Rubbermaid to replace another brand that failed while I was at it. Most reviewers say this is a very good footrest. I agree. The ladder got to me on time and early in the day. The box was in good condition. I picked it up and realized it was heavy. I unpacked it and found that everything is fine. After removing all packaging from the fully assembled ladder, I opened up the legs and attached them. It's a bit tight, but after a few jobs it should loosen up.
