Durable and easy to use!

Love how this stool opens and closes, don't worry about pinching your fingers! When folded, it takes up very little space. The steps feel solid and I really like that there is a lockable compartment for small nails or screws (red capped). The top shelf has slots for screwdrivers, pliers and a hammer, as well as space for a paint can (or a lightbulb so it doesn't roll off!). I wish I had had this years ago!

Three stars for 3 step ladder

I really like the size of this ladder/ladder - it sits somewhere between a step stool and a regular ladder but has a few downsides. Pros: - Ideal size for hanging curtains, changing lightbulbs, etc. - Crossbar at top is comfortable to lean on and helps keep balance (except see minus #3) - Folds up very thin. . it's 16 pounds! I wouldn't say it's easy, and it's definitely harder than it looks - Suggestion 65 warning - doesn't appear on the Revain site, but there is a warning on the stairs - A…

Ladies Stool: Stairs

This is the perfect little step stool! We have a black three-tier, but it's always requested for dirty "project" parts of the house, and it's never there when I need to get something in the kitchen. I thought I'd try a two-step procedure in the hopes that it would be a little easier to maneuver, and it really is. They're not as light as aluminum, but their fragility scares me. I would have preferred a little more weight but feel more secure standing on it and light enough to roll where I need…

great ladder/step stool for petites like me!

I'm about 5ft 1-1/2" tall and needed a closet stool to reach what I keep on the top shelves. lol. I have a normal staircase but it is too wide for my needs, I wanted something narrower. This is perfect for me. It's a little heavier than I thought it would be, but it opens/closes very easily and is very durable. I bought stock/like new from Revain mainly because it was at least $20 cheaper and I didn't mind using it while it was still working. I was glad that although the box looked like it had…

Practical, useful, durable and safe. winner in everything.

I'm so happy! No assembly was required. This ladder (to me it is a ladder) is packed in a flat box and opens as shown in the picture. Easily folds back into a slim and flat shape for storage. It is a solid and well thought out device. The steps are wide and deep enough that I don't feel like my feet are dangling, and each step is fitted with durable rubber, which adds to my sense of security. Honestly, I'm scared of heights, but the rounded top handlebar gives me a sense of security. The air…

Although heavier than expected it is sturdy and well built

I went back and forth to buy a 2 or 3 step stool. My townhouse has a few recessed lights that I need to get to. A 3 step ladder at only 5ft 1in was a great choice! The step stool arrived today. There was extra tape on the packaging but the box itself was secure and undamaged. Wow! The step stool is a bit heavier than expected. When I ordered I didn't read that it weighed 14 pounds. But 14 pounds isn't too bad considering this stool is a mix of steel and plastic. . No rocking problems. I like…

Latch works as intended

I have had a few footpegs. I bought Rubbermaid to replace another brand that failed while I was at it. Most reviewers say this is a very good footrest. I agree. Some reviewers are negative about the latch being loose. See attached photo 2. I put on my tech hat thinking it was by design and a safety measure. When the stool is in use, the latch hangs loosely from the bar about 1/8 inch. If for any reason the footrest begins to fold while you are standing on it, the latch on the crossbar will…

Durable and heavy. on ladders

The ladder got to me on time and early in the day. The box was in good condition. I picked it up and realized it was heavy. I unpacked it and found that everything is fine. After removing all packaging from the fully assembled ladder, I opened up the legs and attached them. It's a bit tight, but after a few jobs it should loosen up. I closed it and the latch to release the locking mechanism is a bit finicky. Finally closed, I moved it to an overhead light that needed a bulb change. I noticed…
