Review on πŸ”₯ Coghlan's 12.5" x 6.5" Pack Grill - Silver by Jeff Sorensen

Revainrating 1 out of 5

It seemed weak to me, the metal deforms easily

I opened it up and one leg was at about a 75 degree angle. The other was 90 degrees. The legs have a small piece of dangling rack wire built into them that prevents them from opening past a certain point. Mine were bent two different ways, resulting in one pair of legs being at a different angle. When I tried to bend the wrong wire back into place (only a few millimeters of wire dangling to do this, the wire detached from the clean one. Also, some wires at the top of the rack were bent upon receipt. These issues make me feel like I can't use the stand for a heavy pot, cast iron skillet, or even lighter, liquid-filled utensils. As a grill, maybe to sear a steak or some hot dogs. To be honest I've just realized it's cheaply made and not worth the weight in my backpack.YMMV I don't want to be ugly because I like the IDEA of it, I've just found that it doesn't work for my intended use and I have serious concerns about long-term durability based on my sample size of one .
