Review on Rustark Precision Assorted Bicycle Assortment by Tim Hull

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good bearings, high quality stainless steel, the dimensions are accurate.

Good bearing set - high quality stainless steel. The outer label says "SAE" and the inner label shows both SAE fractional sizes (3/16, 1/8, etc.) and the metric equivalent size. I have serviced headset bearings on my road bike and at the same time. The bearing jumped out when cleaning the bearing ring. Note to self: When degreasing a bearing race, use a cloth shop towel or rolled paper towel, NOT regular paper towel. I removed the adjacent ball bearing from the bearing ring and measured and it was 5/32. Rustark's bearing was 5/32" and it was exactly 5/32". I put a Rustark ball bearing in the race and it snapped in perfectly. I completed servicing the headset without going to the bike shop for a new bearing ring. I am very satisfied with this set of bearings. It's inexpensive, good quality, dead balls in size (haha) and saved me from a trip to a bike shop or maybe two. Excellent work! Hope that helps.
