PRODUCT ADVANTAGES: The main chip is LM393. Signal is clean, waveform is good, driving ability is strong. ADJUSTABLE THRESHOLD: Build in potentiometer can be used to adjust the threshold level. EASY TO USE, INTUITIVE: When sound intensity exceed a certain threshold, produces low(Digital output 0) signal and light will be off, Otherwise output high(Digital output 1) signal and light will be bright. EASY TO INSTALL: There is a mounting screw hole, convenient fixed. WIDELY APPLICATIONS: a variety of platforms including Arduino / AVR / ARM/PIC.

Not sensitive at all

Works as it turns on but useless as it doesn't pick up sounds well. I'll clap and speak into the sensor but the sensor won't see it 8/10 times.

Great deal for what it is

Works exactly as expected. A few things to note: It struggles with sounds above 10kHz and the pins are difficult to desolder. I ended up ripping some copper on the board by desoldering the pins.

If they aren't faulty, they work fine. *Update*

*Update October 20, 2019 Anmbest support contacted me and we were very helpful in solving my problems. Based on that customer service experience, I would like to, but then again. * Two out of five were defective. They were very warm to the touch, the power light was on but setting the pot made no difference. The other three worked perfectly.
