Review on πŸ€– HiLetgo 37 Sensors Assortment Kit: Ultimate Sensor Starter Kit for Arduino, Raspberry Pi | Explore 37-in-1 Robot Projects! by Terrance Duncan

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Don't buy the first set but will probably work for a second one. Poor documentation and incorrect labeling.

I bought this as an additional source for sensors after buying the first set from ELEGO which was about double the price. I figured the apparent lack of documentation and manuals in this set wouldn't help. no problem as I already had most of them. The 37 small circuit boards came in a nice split plastic case with a colorful legend, but nothing more. To my chagrin, the boards were not arranged as shown, but in a random order. It took an hour to sort them by legend (complicated by the fact that they were individually ziplock bagged). It wasn't easyβ€”none of the boards had a description stamped on them, so other than tiny pictures on the cover, there wasn't really a way to tell the boards apart. It really didn't matter, my dogs happily sat on my feet while I sorted out the boards. And I have a good idea of each of them. But looking back it was a wasted hour of my life that I will never get back. And I'm wondering if HiLetGo was too cheap to sort the boards in a case, what other flaws can I find in real boards. Overall I feel like I got what I paid for. However, I seriously recommend spending more money on a different set of sensor boards if you're a little new to it. The lack of paperwork and incorrect lettering in this set make it virtually unusable for you without some experience.
