I recently noticed that they have light rust after about 9 months of use. I don't live in a particularly icy area where we have to salt or finish the roads and I wash my car fairly regularly so I feel like the locks are lacking. I'll probably have to replace them before they're two years old just to make sure they still spin freely and aren't blocked by rust (which would damage the lock's design). I think they do their job but I wasn't looking for something I would have to buy on an annual basis.
