Although it's more expensive than some cheap slide scanners, the benefits outweigh the price of its counterparts. Even in constructive details, he wins. For example, when you open the negative holder, you see small protrusions that fix the film clearly on each frame. No need to move the film left and right to fix it in the frame. There is, of course, a drawback - the low resolution of the scanned images. But I don’t need anything else, I want to scan a home (non-professional) photo archive. In order to print photos 10x15 - quite enough. There is a desire to see an even more attractive price, but I bought the previous scanner for more than 4 thousand. He did not scan, the computer did not recognize him, he destroyed the images at the scanning stage. This one is only 1700 more expensive, but it already has a number of advantages and works (pah-nmae-nmae). Therefore, the price is also not considered a drawback at all. I noticed a slight cropping of the image. It is impossible to change the film scanning area, but in principle it is tolerable (however, only small areas are cut off at the edges of the frame) Therefore, I highly recommend it for fans.
