Pros: Low profile, windscreen or dash compatible, collapsible clamping mechanism Cons: Poor connection, suction cup melted over time Decided to buy this back in 2015 due its flat design. Had it attached to the windshield for many years. The hinge has a handle that can be used to tighten it. I didn't find my phone heavy at the time (iPhone 6, Incipio Dualpro case) but the phone tilted down for a few minutes. This was especially true on hot days. The connection has a tensioning mechanism that can help, but over the summer it loosens over time. Also, the part that attaches magnetically to the phone rotates clockwise/counterclockwise, allowing my phone to end up at odd angles when traveling. Normally my car is in the garage, but this year I'm leaving it outside. This caused the rubber suction cup to melt and fall off. It left a greenish-brown sticky residue on my windshield and dashboard. This can be common with most suction cup mounts and is not a manufacturer issue. A metal plate is also supplied with most magnetic mounts. It comes with two that you can either slip into the phone case or attach to the outside. Unfortunately, these plates can leave a slight bulge on your phone while it's inside (although it's a millimeter or two thick). The magnet itself is decent and holds my phone well. Problems can arise with thicker mobile phone cases. All in all a decent magnetic suction cup car mount with a low profile. Best used with lighter phones and year round in colder climates. It's been three years so if it falls off without leaving a mark I'd give it a higher rating. Now I need to clean it off the windshield and dashboard without damaging them. I ended up buying the WizGear Universal Twist-Lock Air Vent Mount (low profile, stronger connections, stronger magnet).
