I love this filter inlet cap for my 10 gallon shrimp tank. This is a much better solution than the sponge I used. First I bought a smaller size, but there was not enough money for it. I went up a size and got it the next day (cool!). I put it on and within an hour it was covered in shrimp. It's been running for a few days now and I haven't had to save a single young shrimp from being sucked into the bottom of the end cap. I wish I had experienced this many years ago! If you have shrimp and use an over-the-back filter, this is what you need!
