Best Breed Chicken Dry Dog Food with Fruits and Vegetables appears to be a quality dog food with good ingredients. When I first opened the resealable bag, I could smell the distinct smell of fish that welcomed me. It's a chicken-flavored meal, so I'm guessing it's just my unrefined pellet palette that's going wrong (either that or it's the New Zealand green-lipped mussel ingredient that shows up). Regardless of the smell, I thought it would stink. enough for my dogs to enjoy. I mixed it with my old food and none of my dogs seemed to notice much of a difference, which was a relief (sometimes they would go through the food mixes to only take certain types and leave the rest. The bits themselves are tiny hard brown They are the size of toy breed pellets which is normal for us as my two dogs are small Both dogs can eat these pellets very well We have not experienced any reactions, indigestion or other issues with this food This food states that it was made in the USA, which is one of my "acceptable places to manufacture dog products" on my personal checklist The nutritional information and ingredients are clearly listed on the side of the package and match the information shown on the Photos on the Revain list Unlike many other pellet bags, the resealable lid is this one Really great looking and functional pouches to keep food fresh inside. I received my pellets in August 2020. , and the best before date October 2021 is stamped on the packaging. So the shelf life is a little over a year. All in all a good food for my dogs and no complaints from me!
