Againature's loofah kitchen sponges are rectangular in shape and each has a small loop in the corner. They are natural and biodegradable, so they do not contribute to the formation of microplastics in the sea. These sponges are fairly soft (not great for cleaning in the kitchen) and only about 1/4 inch thick. The description says their thickness increases from 0.2 to 1.2 inches after soaking, but that's not our experience. are grown in Vietnam, although they are now grown in the United States. They don't seem to spoil as quickly as many synthetic sponges. Like these, but we've seen better.
