I bought a couple of these hoping to use the built in speakers for listening to music and other media rather than buying speakers. It was a big disappointment, none of the monitors can rise higher than with a normal speaker, with a maximum volume of 20%. I turned the volume up to 100 on the monitor and also set the volume to 100% in Windows and it didn't go up at all. They literally sound like they're worse than the speakers on those little kid's toys.
