Review on Embossing Powder - Clear Gloss Regular, Large 160ml Jar by Jennifer Roberts

This is a really BIG glass. Great value as some places have tiny jars (less than an ounce) for MANY dollars. I've been searching for a long time trying to find "CLEAR DETAIL" specifically, but it should have cost more because of those words. So I took a chance here. It's not as fine as detail powder, but if you have a little experience with embossing, you'll be fine. Here are my tips from a seasoned crafter: First, apply an anti-static pad or brush to the paper. Don't shake the stamp when you press it down - it puts ink where you don't want it and it's difficult to wipe/blow off/brush off the powder when it's on. Hold the heating tool about 20-25 cm from the paper and heat it from below to melt the powder just a little. You shouldn't have too many splatters, but if you do, use a brush to wipe them off before applying heat directly to the powder. And forward when you melt it completely. Unless, of course, you like the toasted look. I practiced a few times before doing something big, but I just love the results. Not to mention the amount you get! This is absolutely the best deal anywhere. I know I've looked everywhere, having PRIME helps.
