Review on 🚲 TCS Exposure Road Tire by Joshua Romero

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Fast tire with good grip.

These tires are fast on the road and corner well. A little tread on the sides doesn't help much when you get into the mud, it all loosens up pretty quickly. They are also not very puncture proof, I get a flat tire almost every time I drive. I haven't leveled since installing them tubeless, but I got tired of spraying sealant on the back of the seat tube and legs after every ride. I really like these tires and wear them on before I buy new tires but maybe I'll try something different next time. I removed the contigator skins and the alligator skins are much more puncture resistant. I was hoping for a little more traction as they are gravel bike friendly and also puncture proof. Overall a good tire but perhaps better suited to rigorous driving on roads with fewer goat heads/lugs. Yes, and the walking behavior is comfortable, very elastic. Update 09/16/2021 I've had these tires for a little over a year and I've had enough. Ride quality 5 stars. Puncture resistance 1 star. I get at least one puncture per trip. Coming from alligator skins where I've had 1-2 flat tires a season, it's frustrating. Sure, sealant usually seals the hole, but I'm sick of my tire spraying sealant on my leg, bike frame, and chainrings. I had to add sealant 4 times during the year they were on my bike in addition to the initial setup.
