Cools well in engine cooling system and air conditioning

Looks good, works as expected although I've never had any cooling problems, just lost the plastic end tank. Fits well on my 81 C10 with 327. It probably wouldn't be my choice if I'm building a race car or have cooling issues, but in July it stays between 180 and 190. There were all the right connections for a transmission cooler or oil cooler if you have them . And it looks pretty good, the welds are good, there are no leaks. The only issue I had was that it was about 1.5 inches shorter than stock and the coolant outlets were slightly larger than stock. It's also about half the width of the original, but that's not an issue with the c10. In general very satisfied.

Pros
  • Integrated transmission oil cooler
Cons
  • Upgradeable
