I bought a pair of these 1) For camping kitchen tools, gas and non stick spray 2) For camping "tools". My wife thought I was exaggerating a bit but they did a good job of keeping things contained. The shelf inside the box served to keep small or frequently used items within easy reach while concealing the contents of the box. The kitchen box contained 3 propane tanks, Weber non-stick grill spray, herb/spice set, Faberware plastic cookware pack, cooking utensils. and paring knives, etc. There is plenty of "above the tray" space to hold a vinyl tablecloth and clips of leftovers. drivers and dams. Ties etc etc. The boxes also worked well as a windbreak when placed next to our Weber Q1200 and 2 burner camping stove. Also, the boxer shorts are strong enough to carry things in the back of the car. The only downside was that the box can tip over with the lid open and lightly loaded. If the box is properly filled, it doesn't matter.
