The toaster made it to its destination without any damage. The item in and of itself has a really great appearance, and I went with a graphite finish. satisfies the need of the metal case. The controls are pretty easy to use: there is a lever to lower the bread, and there is a roasting regulator that ranges from 1 to 7 for any occasion, so to speak. The cable is not very long, but it is adequate for my needs. The bread compartments are relatively spacious, making them perfect for both sliced bread and toast bread to be stored in. The most delightful perk, though, is the scent of freshly baked bread that permeates the entire home and evokes feelings of ease and contentment.
