Precision and great safety!
I had a 300w Eheim heater that one day decided it needed to heat 5F higher than its setting and I accidentally caught it from checking the water temp very carefully that week. I bought one of these and received it with a shipping tag so I can use a reliable sensor that can also control my existing heaters. It was great to be able to check the water temperature and at the same time check the water temperature while I was sleeping, at work or on vacation. Once I can replace this heater it will be great to have as another measure to protect my pets from broken heaters causing them to overcook. the most common heaters. So I can rely on it to keep my aquariums at the right temperature.
