I was a bit dismayed when the sample pack arrived as it looked like the box had been opened. I found that the pack had 2 bars of coconut and argan oil shampoo instead of 1 bar of jojoba and mint, which I was dying to try. As I had 2 coconut/argan bars I decided to try this one first. Although the bars are small they last a long time - 2-3 weeks so I had a chance to try just one but I look forward to trying others. I have thick curly frizzy hair and coconut and argan made it soft and manageable. I didn't notice any particular smell, which is normal because I don't like spicy flavors. I also LOVE that it's made near where I live. My only complaint is that JR Liggett's doesn't make a condition bar. The shampoo is advertised as not requiring conditioner, but my hair type and texture requires conditioner. Otherwise I am very satisfied with the product and when I have tried all the bars I will definitely buy products from this company again.
