My husband and I went kayaking this morning. Each of us has used one of these waterproof bags at some point. We put keys, wallets and phones inside. I wasn't really expecting any problems but thought maybe some water could get into our kayaks. As it turned out, I capsized a kayak. The current was so fast I couldn't get back in. Eventually my husband passed out trying to help me. We ended up drifting along the river for some time until we could reach the river bank. End of a long story, pockets kept everything dry! Not a drop of water got in. I wore mine around my waist and my husband put it in the covered compartment of his kayak. I ran/swimmed in chest-high water for at least 20 minutes. I really didn't want to check the bag that carefully! But I'm glad you were with us! I have small phone-sized waterproof bags that hang from a drawstring, but they are larger and hold a bit more stuff. I highly recommend it!
