The outer bell control ring is infinitely rotatable, allowing the user to easily produce one or more tones in one continuous motion. This bell is easy to install with a single Phillips head screw that fits into the bottom of the ring. The measurements given in the description are true. Although not shown in the picture, the bell also comes with a rubber pad that sits in a plastic ring and provides a firmer grip on smaller diameter handlebars. The ring under the bell is offset from the center of the bell, allowing two options for bell placement: slightly forward or slightly behind the center of the handlebar, and this can be adjusted for user fingertip reach. Installed the bell in less than a minute after searching for my Phillips screwdriver a little longer :-).
