DO NOT BUY. The storm passed and the surge caused my modem and router to fail. I have 4 of these. Belkin support claims to help you, but it's all about making sure they don't have to pay, even if they have an implied guarantee (it's all marketing, good luck getting some). You pay shipping for all your items so they can "inspect" them and then tell you the market value. What is the market value of my 3 year old modem and router that worked great? Pretty much nothing according to Belkin, and then you stop paying postage back and forth and you're stuck with no gear. What if a storm burns out my TV because a surge protector isn't protecting it? Should I send you a 55 inch TV for them to inspect? The lifespan of my surge protectors varies from 3 months to 1 year. I spent over $150 on these filters, they didn't do the job. I'm buying new equipment and I'm having no luck.
