This cone saved a life! I'm an average height for my 15 lb, 9 month old Shih Tzu when he was neutered (he has a 12 inch neck). I pumped him up to probably 80% and he was able to eat and drink but didn't touch the seams. The cone is covered with a soft fabric and he often used it as a pillow. He didn't really seem to mind wearing it. It saved his life because he has access to food 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and eats when he wants. He was unable to eat or drink with the plastic cone from the vet and I was very concerned how it would work as he only grazes during the day. But with Katoggi's cone, that wasn't a problem and he was just able to go about his daily business. The cone was strong and well built. You simply thread your dog's collar through the loops inside the cone, inflate the cone (you'll have to pinch your nose when inflating or deflating), and you're done! A few times he slipped his foot through the velcro but I just flipped him over so the velcro was on top of his neck, not under it, and that took care of it. I highly recommend this cone! It has made my dog's recovery from surgery so much easier!
