Soft and comfortable post putty

Pretty easy to blast; Adjustable velcro (found out a few days later) comfortable on my dog and she couldn't get to her incision.

tear down our walls! for medical supplies

I bought this for a dog while he was healing a spot on a front paw. He loved it. uses it as a pillow. I've never complained about having to use it and didn't get to the spot on my leg to allow it to heal.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Not sure

Our dog has just been neutered.

Let's work much better than the cone the doctor sent us after our dog was neutered. Efrain told me about it, so I bought it in advance. Our dog didn't seem to mind at all, he actually used it as a pillow.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • boring packaging

Worked great! on Recovery Collars & Cones

Our Italian Greyhound broke his leg while chasing a squirrel. We replaced the cone from the vet with this pillow. He was so happy about it and was able to calm down. Not just for the comfort I think, but he was also able to see his surroundings better. I highly recommend.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Definitely recommended after the operation!

I have a Siberian Husky that is recovering from crossbreed surgery and this pillow saved my life! 10/10 for sure! She hated the cone and would freeze if she hit anything. The donut pillow is made so she doesn't bump into anything, and she didn't even mind wearing it! she wore it for almost 2 weeks! My husky is very picky and hates hanging things around his neck so this was the perfect solution to our cone problem!

Much better than a lampshade

Our dog chewed on his tail in several hot spots. We tried the lampshade collar but it was so big and chunky it was a shame. This product arrived quickly, was easy to use and solved the chewing problem. The entertainment value of watching our dog adjust was worth every penny, if not a penny! We will remember donut week for the rest of our lives LOL! He quickly realized that it was a built-in pillow. He loved it! He could walk, eat and drink normally, and sleep peacefully. I recommend every dog…

More comfortable than a cone but not quite right for the job

I ordered this as an alternative to the pubic cone (which my boy seems to take literally) and it restricts his movement but if you access on a paw or genitals, that doesn't really help us much. Admittedly, my pup is quite mixed and long, so a dog with a shorter body might have better luck (our other dog is a Wand, for size reference). He definitely doesn't seem to mind wearing it to look less sinister, but I only use it when we have a direct line of sight.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Has flaws

A puppy could eat and drink with a cone

This cone saved a life! I'm an average height for my 15 lb, 9 month old Shih Tzu when he was neutered (he has a 12 inch neck). I pumped him up to probably 80% and he was able to eat and drink but didn't touch the seams. The cone is covered with a soft fabric and he often used it as a pillow. He didn't really seem to mind wearing it. It saved his life because he has access to food 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and eats when he wants. He was unable to eat or drink with the plastic cone from the…

The size in the description is wrong

It's kind of a guessing game about the right size. The table shows that L is suitable for Beagles, Bassets and Labradors. Well I have a 46lb Aussie who will be much larger than a Beagle or Basset Hound but smaller than a Labrador. Why they put the Labrador in this category in the first place is beyond me. So I chose XL. It was too big and slipped on his head, and he kept tangling his foot in it trying to get it off. So I ordered a large one which was too small. It suffocated him. So I would say
