Review on πŸ–ŒοΈ The Masters Brush Cleaner & Preserver, 1 Oz. by General Pencil Company Inc. by Doris Tran

Revainrating 5 out of 5

oooh That's it.

Honestly. I would give this place more than a pathetic five stars. This is by far the best brush cleaner I have ever used. I had to take before and after photos, but I was so excited to try it out (after seeing other great reviews) that I went straight to the sink with my load of brushes. The first thing I noticed was the smell. It's a wonderful fresh lemon scent, not unlike kitchen soap. I love this scent, it's so clean! ;D So, on the way to work, I got down to work on one of my worst brushes, which got damaged when my sister was using it and didn't clean it. There was a lot of dry acrylic paint in it, and it was a dirty gray color. I washed it with warm water swirling around that container of cleaning solution for five minutes? I alternately shook and rinsed. You can actually see the paint coming off. Mine had the paint peeling off in little clumps and turning gray like solvent (easy to clean of course) and after washing it one last time I was so amazed. My brush, which had suffered from blacks, browns, greens, watercolors, acrylics, etc., reverted to its beautiful new yellow. I thought it was just my eyes, but seriously? My brush looked like new. New and smelled good. Oh, and it was soft once it dried. My brushes no longer have a hard crust. I am absolutely satisfied with my purchase, and even after cleaning nearly twenty dirty brushes, my supply has hardly diminished. All in all very very well worth the price, I will definitely buy it again when it's gone. :) and it turned gray with solvent (easy to clean of course) and after washing it one last time I was so amazed.
