Makes handling 55 gallon kegs much easier and safer. I've used it several times with forks attached to my tractor. Works best on steel barrels. The plastic ones are a bit trickier as the plastic can flex slightly on the sides. I wouldn't try super heavy plastic drums. Beating, sliding barrels over the forks and then very slowly. Now I just pick them up once the ring is attached and I can ride normally. I use this in our yard to move and unload our pet food barrel. I haven't used it for skew and fill, but as long as you balance it properly I don't see any problems with it.
