This is some neat stuff. Does require some careful tuning of the speed, needs to be slowed down 30-50%. Test it with a calibration cube. Very durable.Using on a Folgertech FT-5 with the stock MK9 style hotend and extruder with a TPFE lined barrel to the heat block. Make sure there is not a large gap between the top of the barrel and the exit hole in the bottom of the extruder. You may have to adjust the lined barrel (threaded tube) upwards.

Pros
  • What a great color and quality. I can't say enough about how well the prints come out.
Cons
  • Difficult to work with for beginners

HatchBox TPU (flexible) filament in 1.75mm

Another great filament from HatchBox. This is a fairly firm flexible filament. Not at all like NinjaFlex, which is on the "soft" end of the flexible filaments and requires very slow printing speeds. This HatchBox filament prints at PLA temps and can be run at normal print speeds. It doesn't stick to bare, clean glass like NinjaFlex does (cold or hot) but it gives quality prints although quite a bit stiffer. This is because HatchBox put the flexibility rating up near the top of the scale

Pros
  • 1.75mm Filament Diameter (Dimensional Accuracy +/- 0.03mm) - Shore 95A Hardness
Cons
  • Sensitive to temperature fluctuations

This TPU is awesome! Very consistent and I've had great success with 5ish prints now. MAKE SURE YOU PUT DOWN SOME MASKING TAPE OR GLUE STICK THIS WILL STICK EXTREMELY WELL TO YOUR PRINT BED.I had to spend a half hour prying my first print off the PEI surface on my Prusa i3 MKS2 printer, I've since printed it onto blue painting tape and it comes off much more easily.

Pros
  • 3D Printing Filament
Cons
  • High shrinkage rate can cause distortion in printed parts

Great stuff! best TPU ive tried.

prints great! - i have a fleet of rubber lizards from testing now!prints at just ABOVE PLA temps, - 195-205 works best (you want zero backlash) - its a little fiddle to get feeding initially, but thats to be expected with floppy filament.keeping a tiny bit of tension on the filament seems to make it all work much more smoothly (i just put the spool below the printer and used a pulley for the filament path)

Pros
  • Ideal for intricate 3D prints
Cons
  • Susceptible to brittleness and cracking over time

Prints great once your settings are dialed.

I've been using this with my Makerbot Replicator+ and its been running great. It's more difficult to print with than PLA so be prepared to have some failures till your settings are dialed. It can have feed issues but that is becaise of the softness of the material. But once you have the setup down its prints beautifully and is a great material when softer more durable prints are needed.

Pros
  • Can be used in printing soft and comfortable models
Cons
  • May require more support structures to ensure printing accuracy

Great Product! in my review

I've never used TPU before, but this is definitely worth every penny. The models come out great and I haven't had an issue due to the filament.

Pros
  • Additive Manufacturing Products
Cons
  • Prone to overextrusion during printing

Works very well - my new review

It prints very clean and is durable material with good color, I would purchase again. Delivery was fast great price That's my feedback!

Pros
  • Low moisture absorption
Cons
  • May require a more experienced user to get desired results

Works great and a great price!

I have been using this for inserts on concrete castings. The prints have held up very well to being pulled out from the molds. I have not had any major issues printing the material. Just make sure you do not have retraction on.

Pros
  • Suitable for printing wearable items
Cons
  • Imperfections in the filament can cause inconsistent printing results

My absolute favorite material to print with

I used nearly identical settings as PLA but printed far smoother. And the White color is a perfect "bright white paper white".The material strength and toughness are perfect for heavy duty end use parts.Beware, it takes a sharp razorblade to trim these parts, and you want to have Combing mode turned on to avoid whiskers you can't trim.

Pros
  • Can be used for creating grips, padding, and shock-absorbing components
Cons
  • Not ideal for printing components that require precision

Awesome Value good for me

Great TPU filament for the price. Layer-to-layer adhesion is tricky to get right, but when your settings are nailed down it makes a great print.

Pros
  • Consistent filament diameter for accurate printing
Cons
  • Can be difficult to find replacement spools in some regions

Great TPU filiment: my feedback

Great printing it acts like a silicone a little bit and exactly what I needed. Although for my 3d printer I did need to slow down the printing speed because it would get jammed in the gear and spit out the side.

Pros
  • Perfect for functional parts
Cons
  • Can produce inferior printing results compared to other filaments on the market

Great overall 3D print filament

I love Hatchbox filament, I have used 5+ kilos of various colors, both ABA and PLA, in the last year in my Afinia printer and can't be happier.I have never had a problem with it being wound improperly, jamming in the machine or not melting properly. I have tried 10 different colors with the same favorable results, no complaints.PROS: Very reliable Consistent proper winding Consistent Color Consistent Diameter Consistent melting temp Good bonding Good range of colors Good range of materials…

Pros
  • Offers good elasticity
Cons
  • Has a tendency to produce stringy or spaghetti-like printed objects

Nice flexible product

Easy to dial in. Great to work with. Just the right amount of give. Can see plenty of projects this will end up in. Will make a good alternative to a gasket in some of them.

Pros
  • Allows for printing with high precision and accuracy
Cons
  • May require a cooling system during printing to ensure accuracy

Excellent Product best in my review

Wanted a product that would be pliable and strong enough to be used with my CNC system as hold down blocks. Works for that well.

Pros
  • Features a high-quality finish
Cons
  • Troubleshooting filament issues can be time-consuming

What I've learned.

What I've learned as I go along in 3d Printing is that filament makes or breaks you! NO matter what type of filament whether ABS, TPU or PLA the ONLY brand I buy is Hatchbox. It has NEVER let me down. I've tried other brands and have been very unhappy with poor quality prints.Hatchbox or NOTHING!

Pros
  • 1.75mm filament diameter offers high detail printing
Cons
  • Prone to generating a lot of excess plastic waste during printing

First time TPU user

This is my 1st ever TPU purchase and gave it a try on a stock Ender 5 Pro. Heard about some horror stories of printing TPU with bowden tube but I've had fantastic success with it. Extremely durable, sticks well, print temp is only 206 @22mm/s. Highly recommend.

Pros
  • Can easily handle high retraction distances
Cons
  • Can cause filament residue to build up in the printer nozzle over time

New at printing, it has worked find for me.

I'm using this on a Prusa MK3 I bought last fall. I've made a few lens caps and some specialty soft gears for a machine at work. I haven't had any problems that I couldn't solve in a try or so.If you are thinking this is really soft, it isn't. It is flexible but 95A shore is fairly stiff.

Pros
  • Easy to print and use
Cons
  • Requires a high temperature to print effectively
