The glass is made of very thin plastic and the light stopper can not be waterproof, so water and dirt enter the crystal. The crystal is so light that it will not sink to the ground unless filled with water. I was expecting a better quality crystal that stays on the ground and seals out water and debris, eliminating the need for weekly maintenance. The light is brighter than I would have expected from a 2W LED. I feel generous in giving this product 3 stars.
