Work From Home Gem works well for desktops

I've been using a 9 year old laptop for work from home for about 6 months. I ran Linux on it and it worked fine. My employer recently switched to using the Windows-only remote desktop service. Even though I upgraded to Windows 10 on an old laptop, it just didn't have the speed or memory to run efficiently. Beelink to the rescue! Right out of the box, Windows 10 loaded quickly and ran smoothly. The video is fast with no gaps and buffering. I am using a wireless keyboard/mouse with a USB transceiver. I use HDMI to connect to a monitor (and sometimes even my big TV if I want to sit in my chair to work from home). Everything works perfectly. I even used a monitor mount to lift the PC off the table and hide it behind the monitor. (Given the PC's small size, this isn't a big deal, but it frees up some desktop real estate.) I've since bought and installed a $50 512GB SATA SSD. The weird SATA cable/connector is something I've never come across, but the instructions that came with the Beelink were clear and I connected the drive with no problems.) I have a Linux distro on a Installed SATA SSD and it works great. Loading and logging in is almost instantaneous. I've set up the PC to boot from a Linux hard drive that calls GRUB, which allows me to choose whether to boot Windows or Linux. I've seen a few reviews commenting on how loud the fan is. To be honest I do hear it every now and then, but it's not very loud. And when the PC is installed behind the monitor, I can hardly hear it. I bought a fanless PC for $100 before I got the Beelink, but alas, it was a dog. It only has 2GB of system memory that cannot be upgraded, which is why I find it unbearably slow. It got blocked, paused, lost, etc. on the remote desktop. I didn't have such problems with Beelink. I'm not a gamer, so I won't comment on this PC's suitability for gaming. However, I recommend this computer for things like working from home and surfing the web.
