Review on 🔥 HAVIT HV-F2056 Slim Portable USB Powered Laptop Cooler Cooling Pad - 15.6-17 Inch (Blue) with 3 Fans by Flocka Parsons

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great cooling pad, quiet, well made, durable, non-slip and effectively cools the air!

Durability Update: February 26, 2021 It's still quiet and reliable! My old Targus rug, which has served me well, has become very noisy over time. When looking for replacement pads, I automatically gave up on the more expensive variable speed pads, glowing LEDs, trendy designs and so on because my laptop will cover all those expensive eye candies. My priorities were pretty simple: (1) thin and light, (2) cooling performance, and (3) quiet. The HV-F2056 fits the bill and works as advertised: Slim and light: The design fits 15.6-17 inches, which suits me. I have an MSI GS70 2QE Stealth Pro with a screen size of 17.3 inches, a total length of 16 inches and a width of 11.25 inches. When both devices are side by side (except for the length), the Havit is almost the same width and thickness as my laptop. The aluminum wire mesh construction definitely makes it lighter and feels sturdy enough for travel, so no problem here. Cooling Efficiency: The 3 huge 110mm fans spin at 1000RPM which is almost twice as fast as my old Targus and I can definitely feel the updraft results as the bottom and sides of the laptop feel cool. I ran CoreTemp and HWMonitor with fan off/on to see if the internal temp is definitely dropping. The fans are also in the perfect position for my vents. What I didn't want was padding where part of the case had a lot of plastic that would block the vents and with this fully meshed finish this wasn't an issue. The third photo shows how it works. As I said before, your laptop covers most of the device so the light doesn't get in the way. Quiet: Unless I'm blinded by the noise, I can't hear the operation of this panel! I think this cooling pad strikes a good balance between airflow volume and noise level. I also found out that these fancy LED lights are not just another pretty glow, they can actually serve a purpose like... reminding you to turn off your cooling fans when you've turned everything else off! Performance/Charging: Not really. Dissatisfaction as I collect chords/adapters but (a) the 12 inch USB chord comes with a fan which is actually tempting and too short and (b) it doesn't come with a power adapter. I hate using my laptop as a power source when I'm not traveling, so I was surprised that it wasn't possible to run from a wall source. Let's face it, the reason many of us buy a fan is to extend battery life. While the cooling pad is rated at 5 volts, which seems like a minimum, it still converts to watts, draining the cooling battery. Anyway, there's nothing an extension cord and USB male-to-female adapter can't fix. Overall, this is a great cooling pad, quiet, well built, durable, non-slip and effectively cools the air. It's too early to say about durability. As for the price, this is an excellent quality/thickness ratio.
