I bought this to give to a friend so I can't comment on the quality of the pens but here are my thoughts on storage and my first impressions of the visit. I was drawn to this particular set because of the storage space it offers and the fact that you can turn it over like a book. We've all dealt with pencils in boxes and I've seen the ones that are in these wide tin containers and you have to peel away each layer to reveal the other and if you've ever worked in a small space or on the go then that's how it is not a convenient way to carry it around. + For the storage box, it's really good quality and nice and soft in your hands. The only thing I have a comment on, and it doesn't affect the rating because it's based on feel and not fact, is that I was a bit underwhelmed when I looked at the palette. Typically, colors are sorted by hue, and then by hue. This one was mixed up, so it was hard to tell if the green I was seeing was the same shade or not. Most likely it was just a presentation of pencils in a case. I'm happy to send it because overall it's a good gift set for someone who loves to paint in their free time.
