As a Christmas present to myself, I remodeled my kitchen and replaced almost all the pots, pans and baking pans I had. (everything is very old and well used) My kitchen has a lot of red, so I was happy to find this lovely red and white casserole dish set. I love it. I have made several casseroles and am very happy that they are so easy to wash up. (I wash it by hand, I don't have a dishwasher) The dimensions are perfect, it folds easily and stores in my closet. I haven't used it to "serve" food, but it's certainly attractive enough to put right on the dining table. Since writing this review I have used a medium sized pan the most, I would say about a dozen times? Last night I was washing dishes, I took the middle one to put the leftovers in the storage bin. The pan was barely warm to the touch. I was walking him across the kitchen when he literally exploded! The glass was scattered everywhere, a splinter pierced my leg and severely injured me. There are NO cracks and chips in the pan, I can't understand why it "exploded" like that, but it was scary! I couldn't recommend this cookware set more highly. I already threw away the other two parts. DO NOT BUY THIS.
