Good drinker but dries quickly.

I bought a medium sized water bowl which is a fairly decent size and easily fits in my 40 gallon lidded rabbit feeder door when held up. What confuses me is the fact that the water dries out very quickly even if you fill the bowl to the brim. I've found mine sometimes dried out within hours of being served. Of course changing the water is always a good reminder so I think it helps forgetful owners haha.
