This is a decent product but it won't take long if you want to brew quality beer. I bought the kit and got everything I needed to test my water for pH up to 6.0. I contacted the seller stating that this didn't help me as the optimal pH for brewing is 5.2. The seller informed me that I needed to get an acidic pH reagent and he would send me the item for free since it should have been included in the first place. One caveat: the iDip meter is designed to test water and cannot test for clogging as it is opaque. If you are an experienced home brewer, you know how important the pH of the mash and wort is. So this kit doesn't do all the work. You need an advanced kit if you want to improve your homebrewing process.
