I had to put my 45 gallon tank up after about 2 weeks of cycle. Ammonia by 0.5, nitrite by 0.5, nitrate by 0.1. Put 1/2 the recommended dose in the reactor and two days later all the readings went to 0 and I had a diatom burst. The diatoms were gone and I put my fish and other corals from my smaller tank in there, but still no nitrite or ammonium nitrate was found. This has never happened to me with any product before. I've only been using them for about 1 month but I'd say they're working great so far. I read it takes weeks to work but they worked for me in just two days. This is the only addon I put on the tank in the cycle. I don't know if anyone else has had the same experience with my tank, but I still think so. I will update in a few months and let everyone know if they still work.
