I've bought these several times and found them very useful for some Raspberry Pi projects where I'm constantly moving things and don't want to be constantly unscrewing individual connectors. The assembly process can be a bit tedious, but the convenience of possible mis-wiring afterwards is all but eliminated. I usually crimp the rubber boot onto the terminal first and then crimp the conductive part. The rubber boot usually needs to be tucked into the hole as it fits snugly. It behaves like a good strain relief. The large rubber boot between the plugs doesn't hold up well and is of dubious quality. I don't use them in wet areas so I don't mind. I've used the Delphi Packard Crimper regularly and it works great. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003MWJ6SA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
