ordered when my ethernet cable, (from the cable company), broke- (the clip securing the wire's connection broke). so, i replaced/upgraded my cable, and it seems to work perfectly. i just need to remember that, when i require an appointment with my cable company, to remind them that it is MY CABLE, rather than one supplied by them. btw, would be cheaper to go to a computer store, buy the cable and the plastic clips, and make it myself, but my brother took the tool used for doing so. this is the next best thing
