As my vet recommended my Shih Tzu puppy to wear a rolled leather collar just because of his long coat I was looking for sources of a good quality collar like this searched. This one meets all of my needs. I chose red to match his leash and because it would look better with his dark fur. This one was easy to close on first use unlike others I've had for previous puppies. In addition, in contrast to previous collars, the tag holder is again placed directly above it. As he grew up, I loosened him up a bit, but I didn't see any stretching on his part. I even gave it a bath once which shows that it is indeed waterproof and doesn't fade at all. I'm very happy with the quality and workmanship and I'm sure Misha will happily wear it for some time to come.
