Although the pens appear to be of decent quality, they feel good in the hand and are of solid construction but still need to be installed. I gave 2 stars overall because they skimped on hardware and was missing 1 Allen key to install. The pipe mounts are very deep drilled and tapped, but the screws they give are M6x1 16mm long, only about 3mm of the screw thread goes into the internal thread of the mount. Which can be easily removed with these little threads as others have pointed out. in other reviews. I bought longer stainless steel screws from the supplier I use which adds about $15 to the cost of purchasing the pins. Still a good deal compared to other similar bindings, just be prepared to buy longer gear.
