QEM O2 Socket worked great

My 1997 Honda Civic has 2 oxygen sensors. I changed the first one without the oxygen sensor connector. I had to remove the catalytic converter heat shield to find the key around the sensor. How painful. It took me about an hour to replace this sensor. I was so disappointed with this experience that I decided to purchase an O2 sensor socket. I bought the OEM 27110 socket set from Revain.com for $22. It was a lot. All local car dealerships were charging $20 for just one outlet. This one has 3 with a case. In fact, two months after I changed the first sensor, the second one fails. What a lifesaver this set was! The kit includes 3 sockets for 7/8" probes: two with offset wrenches (3/8" and 1/2" drive) and one deep head (3/8" drive) with side cutout for the wire O2 sensor. This should cover most applications. I used a 3/8" offset socket to remove the O2 1 sensor on the car. It worked fantastically. The socket went right through the hole in the catalytic converter heat shield and got stuck on the sensor. The sensor was replaced in less than 10 minutes. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.
