Good build and performance

I needed 2 different sizes to replace the 02 intake and exhaust sensors on a 2009 4 cylinder Accord. This kit included both sizes and made the job easier. The sockets are made of thick metal and look well made. The case that comes with it is good. Good value for money.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Replacement parts work as expected

Although the kit may have been overkill as it only includes 1 of 3 connections to remove a faulty rear O2 on a 2007 Accord it was nice to have a few options before replacing to have . Great price and covers all the potential variables you might come across when removing O2.

Pros
  • Convenience
Cons
  • Not bad

Used to remove the lambda probe from the BMW 128i 2008

It's great. I have had no problems removing or installing O2 sensors on my BMW 1 Series. Because things are tight and cramped I had to connect them with some extensions and U-joints and to remove one I had to attach it to the extension from back to front. That being said, I'm glad I bought these and not some other captive wrenches I've seen. It would be a nightmare.

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • Modernity

Works but poor quality control

Poor quality control in manufacturing. The tool did the job, but I couldn't use the 3/8" funnel head. The square slot that the 3/8" ratchet and/or extension fits was too small and I couldn't get the ratchet in got the hole.. to be honest it didn't even come close. I have to drill and file it a bit to fit the 3/8" extension. Luckily, the longer crow's foot (with a 1/2" double square) fits the O2 sensor (barely). Just remember, you get what you pay for, so for a little over $20 I can't get tooโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Nothing here

Suitable for many sensors.

Worked well for my application and the box doesn't let me mix those sockets with my other tools. The only comment would be that the two darker versions looked like they had been used before. I don't know if that's the case or if it's just how the fairing looks, but it's purely cosmetic anyway, and they did an A/F sensor replacement on a 2002 Toyota Highlander to clear the P1135 code . I see what the other reviewer said about how easy it is to round off the edges of an oxygen/air fuel sensor ifโ€ฆ

QEM O2 Socket worked great

My 1997 Honda Civic has 2 oxygen sensors. I changed the first one without the oxygen sensor connector. I had to remove the catalytic converter heat shield to find the key around the sensor. How painful. It took me about an hour to replace this sensor. I was so disappointed with this experience that I decided to purchase an O2 sensor socket. I bought the OEM 27110 socket set from Revain.com for $22. It was a lot. All local car dealerships were charging $20 for just one outlet. This one has 3โ€ฆ

Okay, but it won't move a severely frozen sensor.

Well packaged. Includes three O2 sensor ports: 1 "deep" "split" port with 3/8 actuator. I couldn't use this connector until I cut the wires from the sensor; it was (very) a bit too short 1 split crow's foot bushing (3/8" drive) 1 split crow's foot bushing (splined drive) I bought the kit to work with a badly frozen/rusted rear O2 sensor. There weren't any Problems with access but needed the right tool for the job I only used a 3/8" houndstooth head. Unfortunately, this does not move the sensor.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

2002 cr-v great tool

These are well made sockets, I have a 2002 Cr-v and one of the sockets which came in a very nice hard case was made specifically for Cr-v O2 sensors. I've heard that some people use a 7/8" wrench to remove the sensor, but mine was nice and tight even with the wd-40 I used and I could imagine scratching my knuckles without them, perfect fit and the wire slot is insane so easy to get an air/fuel gauge at the same time $121 shipping, not much auto work other than changing filters or tire repairsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
