2002 cr-v great tool

These are well made sockets, I have a 2002 Cr-v and one of the sockets which came in a very nice hard case was made specifically for Cr-v O2 sensors. I've heard that some people use a 7/8" wrench to remove the sensor, but mine was nice and tight even with the wd-40 I used and I could imagine scratching my knuckles without them, perfect fit and the wire slot is insane so easy to get an air/fuel gauge at the same time $121 shipping, not much auto work other than changing filters or tire repairs but even I got the job done in under an hour including the time the wd40 needed to penetrate (use this or any other lube first, it will make life a lot easier) Mechanic/dealer fee depending on where you go, $45-$95 an hour (Staten Island Honda $95, just to lift your car up to lift under No receiver required, no hourly charge and even if you never need an o2 socket again there is at least some new sensor and o2 socket kit and dog red yes I called my mechanic and dealer and literally hundreds of others have done the same. The engine light no longer came on. Do it yourself, it's doable. There are some great pictures at this link. PS: The air/fuel sensor is closest to the front bumper next to the passenger side wheel and closest to the rear bumper is the Reg O2 sensor.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
