The best choice for removing the pot and more

They really are perfect for removing the inner pot after cooking when it's very hot. I bought a colander to fit in the pot (with the handles removed) and found that they remove it as well. They are easy to clean and less expensive than other options. I was looking for a pot removal clamp tool but decided to try these instead and I'm very glad I did. Less money, longer life and superior reliability. I learned about this concept from a rice cooker I bought that had a tiny version of these inner pot removal gloves. At first I thought they were silly, but I found they worked really well, so I decided to try this larger version for my Instant Pot. They hold a heavy full pot securely and my hands are protected. Since getting them for the Instant Pot, I've been using them to work on other objects, like removing a hot bowl of soup from the microwave. They're easy to put on and take off - much faster than a glove - and more flexible than oven mitts. They are called "mini", but they are bigger than you think. The thumb is on the narrow side, all other fingers on the broad side.

  • Useful for more than it's intended purpose
