Display is fast enough for use with oscilloscopes. Some colors are quite inaccurate, especially the extremes, which can be adjusted by programming the gamma/display curve. The color issue could also be due to the use of the Teensy Optimized Display Library. Do yourself a favor and use a potentiometer or PWM on the LED backlight. Works on 5V board with resistors/linear converters, works better on 3.3V board without them. I'm using a 10k pullup resistor on the CS pin with Teensy 3.5/4.1 boards with MCP3008 and no communication problems. I didn't think about the SD slot. Given the breadboard design, it is acceptable to omit the SD header. Will buy it again for the next project when I don't need a touchscreen.
