Tripod is only 4 feet tall. Difficult for astrophotography.

The AM284 is less than 4 feet tall at its max. You have to bend down when you aim your camera towards the sky which is annoying. I am going to get the center column, but was hoping to avoid this due to stability being affected. Most other tripods are at least 56 inches tall without having to get a center column.
