Review on 🍾 Two-step Soft-touch Corkscrew by Boomerang by Jerry Forehand

Media could not be loaded. I love corkscrews, I like to collect them and use them interchangeably. I bought this corkscrew because of the foil cutter design which works exceptionally well and better than I expected. It's faster and more efficient than any other corkscrew with a knife like a foil cutter. I didn't give it 5 stars at first because I didn't think it was a real 2 step newbie. No matter how hard I tried to position the corkscrew to fit the cork, I couldn't get the 1st (shorter) step to hook onto the top of the wine bottle. Now I know I was wrong and didn't use the corkscrew like I was supposed to. This corkscrew has a feature that allows the 1st stage of the lever to fully hook the top of the bottle (see video above). Once the corkscrew is inserted into the cork and you slide the lever towards the cork and hold it where it attaches to the handle, there is a spring mechanism that allows the lever to move back about 1/2 inch in the handle. Position bottom edge. Firmly attach the 1st stage lever to the top of the wine bottle. Holding it with your left hand and squeezing the handle with your right, you can now pull the cork halfway out of the bottle and release the bottom of the lever to do the rest of the cork can be easily removed from the bottle. The fact that it passes TSA inspection (from another review) is another big plus. Now it's MY FAVORITE CORKSCREW!
