This RTV silicone is my go-to choice for small home repairs. It adheres well to many surfaces and cures quickly. You can forego the bead attachment, or apply it in thin coats with an old lint-free brush. So far my favorite fix has been repairing a cracked black leather sofa. I didn't trust my giant dog with the durability of standard consumer PVA couch repair kits, so I used this little tube of secret sauce instead. The repair is barely noticeable; They just look like some sort of dull, lightly worn patches, no rips/cracks. It adheres beautifully, cures quickly and stays strong when bent with the material. Yes, and yes, it makes great pads too. ;)
