So I got the oven for free - I'll be using it until I somehow finish the repairs around the house. but since my handyman robbed me and the police don't want to arrest him because "he had the key". (Indeed). and dealing with insurance brings some trouble from the niches of an unfamiliar territory that I'd rather not delve into. Spring. I'll stick with what I have for a while. and gradually replace clothes, electronics, cosmetics (yes, really), bedding (yes, the group went on my life and stole what they wanted.). Anyway to make things "better" I bought these burner drippers and was impressed with them. As far as I can, via the burner drips on the stove I hate (electric, ugh!) in a room with exposed walls and painted plywood for counters. but yes they are good. They clean clean (didn't use abrasives, I'm more of a woman soak it in for a while and it seems to work. So if you're like me and REALLY WANT a new stove/oven but got robbed by a group of people (cool, even on VIDEO!) with a USELESS POLICE STATION run by volunteers (that's my good way of saying "because they don't work.") Well go ahead, buy it, enjoy it clean cooker (that does you REALLY happy? Is your life that simple?) and be aware that there are thugs who have a great system to get to know you/your life and somehow earn your trust (at least I could read it enough not to falling in love with his bullshit and not falling in love with a sociopath) and doing chores, babysitting the dog while you're out of town (I've helped my family get through the ordeal by helping our put my father in a hospice) and even though he KNEW there were cameras, he invited the team that was scrapping my life to my house, they stole what they wanted. two females (one identified) and 4 males (all identified) did not change. because"he had the key". The key is to work around the house and keep an eye on the dogs (while you are elsewhere). So. it"thing" for addicts. They steal your stuff and then sell it at flea markets and other places - or use it themselves. How can you get above that crap? (and that's just a small part of the horrors I've experienced, ask me how my last real relationship ended with a blast). Well you ain't mad back, that's for sure. You don't fight fire with fire. it just makes it a big flame. You're nice. I can't be mad at the people who did this to me (although I'm overwhelmed by the complacency of the police/mayor/city). I can only be myself. I can dig in the dirt and fight ugliness with pretty plants. I fight the fire with the message NO revenge is like a breath of fresh air. Yes, there are bad people. there are stupid people. but ANGRY at them, makes your life better or worse. Just because you've been silenced by spaces doesn't mean you should silence others, right? My oven burners are clean. They work fine. and my rose-colored glasses can see into the future. a future with soapstone countertops in this 1890's home. The clawfoot tub and floors have been restored, the windows have been updated, the yard has ever been fenced. and live without anger. no negative. there is a way Just because someone doesn't respond blindly to you doesn't mean they're weak. think about an alternative.
