First of all I seriously doubt that it is actually Cat6. Although I haven't been able to verify that, it may be the case. And I have no real basis for that claim. I only have my suspicions about the build quality. As a rule, category 6 is very reliable due to the requirements of the standard. I have a gigabit connection to my house and want to make sure I'm taking full advantage of it. To be clear, Cat5e works well for gigabit as well. With this cable I get the full bandwidth. All 940 Mbps Comcast Issues. To be honest most people don't need cat6 at all. Even yourself. I bought the cable anyway and will use the cable. The build quality is clearly cheap. I could tear the cord with my hands if I wanted to. I bought a 100 foot cable for $15. It really is a bargain and I recommend it! Just don't expect anything fantastically durable. It even comes with nail attachments which is a bonus. I ran this cable all over the house that only has 14 corners. I had the perfect amount of mounts for the job. Just be careful when nailing them as I've seen how easy it would be to miss a nail and stick it in the cable. Next time I'll just buy a round cord as the flat design of the cord is hard to keep straight after you string it up and ends up in a mess if you're a yelling idiot like me. 100 feet is a nightmare to unravel. 5+ stars for value 4 stars for durability
