25+% reduced speed on gates.

I bought 3 of these cables to connect some of my devices to an ethernet network and set them up as a wired backhaul for my three wireless access points. When testing, I plug a random Cat 5e or Cat 6 cable straight from my laptop into the router directly and get about the best use of my gigabit fiber connection. With all three of these cables, my speed immediately drops to about 70-75% of that (700-750 Mbps from 1000 Mbps). I don't know where all the good reviews are coming from, maybe it's…

A LOT OF! Easier than crawling in my attic!

I bought the house in June. The signal strength in my office is half that of anywhere else in the house. So instead of crawling around the attic trying to figure out where my coaxial cable was hiding in those pink cotton candy holders, I bought this Category 6 flat cable. I routed it high up along the living room wall, across the hall, and into my office. The cord is nice and flat so I can close my office door without worrying about the cord being pinched. I secured it with the supplied clamps…

Great cord! - Computer Accessories and Peripherals

We needed a new Ethernet cable as our last cable had run out a bit. My family loves to play video games on Xbox One and PC so finding the right cable was important. I was a bit skeptical about this cable as the price was much lower than other cables I found but decided to trust the reviews and buy anyway. I'm glad I did! This cable was just long enough to connect an Xbox One in the living room to a box in our bedroom and the flat shape made it easy to hang on walls (we have young children so…

Good price; Cable works well

I bought this because I wanted a more stable connection than Wi-Fi. I have gigabit internet, but the wi-fi signal dropped, had to go through multiple walls, which is bad if you're gaming or streaming. I needed over 70ft of Cat6 and the price was right. This is a pretty good indoor cable. It's not very heavy and probably won't take much damage, but it's fine for indoor use along carpets. Be careful when installing as the cable is so thin that getting a nail in it will most likely ruin it. I do…

Have routed over 600 feet of their cable

Overall I would say I have routed over 600 feet of their Jadaol Ethernet cable and they work great! I've been using four 50ft cables from my QNAP NAS to the switch for the past half year and they're still working. I also use another 50ft cable to connect an additional computer to my Switch, which works fine too. I recently purchased 3x100ft cables and 2x75ft cables to move my router location to the middle of the house and the cables are working pretty well. with no sign of further delay. Let me

Paper thin but works!

First of all I seriously doubt that it is actually Cat6. Although I haven't been able to verify that, it may be the case. And I have no real basis for that claim. I only have my suspicions about the build quality. As a rule, category 6 is very reliable due to the requirements of the standard. I have a gigabit connection to my house and want to make sure I'm taking full advantage of it. To be clear, Cat5e works well for gigabit as well. With this cable I get the full bandwidth. All 940 Mbps…

I engage in networking on a daily basis, I have .

Dealing with networking on a daily basis, I have to admit that I haven't given much thought to planning my own home network. Instead, I've relied solely on Wi-Fi as the physical transport and allowed the network to grow "organically" to the point where average throughput on devices, even with an 802.11n adapter, dropped to over 20 Mbps is. Finally, I decided on a pair of 8-port unmanaged GigE switches, placed them in different locations around the house to aggregate the physical connections of…
